At Epic Arabians, we believe that the mares are the backbone of any successful breeding program. Too often, stallions are given all or most of the credit for quality offspring. The truth is, that while outstanding stallions are certainly an integral part of a successful program, those stallions would not be producing such exceptional offspring if not for the quality mares that they are bred to. We have included this page to give credit where credit is due, to the lovely broodmares that produce the beautiful, talented athletes that make up our sales list each year.

Khameo's disposition is second to none. She is nearly unflappable and a true babysitter to both young and old beginner riders, carrying them safely on the trail or in leadline and walk/trot classes and riding lessons. She consistently passes on her exceptional disposition, substance, and beauty.

"Lola" is a large, very powerful mare. She is an honest 15 h 1/2" barefoot and trimmed short but appears even larger due to her huge shoulder, chest, hip and deep body. This mare has excellent bone and feet and is extremely correct. She carries two close crosses to Aurab, one through her well respected sire Aulrab and again through her dam NC Auradeyra, an Aurab daughter.

"Abby" is a typey, very correct homozygous bay mare (she will never produce a chestnut foal). She has good movement, a deep chest and body and flashy markings. Her sire, Khemosabi++++ certainly needs no introduction and her dam is a black mare of classic Babson Egyptian/Domestic lines. Abby has been a winner in Halter and Most Classic and was trained for English Pleasure and Pleasure Driving before beginning her career as a broodmare. She has produced four gorgeous foals for us. All have had their mother's classic beauty and athleticism.

Belle is a "home bred" horse and a wonderful representation of what we are trying to produce. She is very intelligent, with a sweet, curious nature. Her movement is free and effortless and she is correct in every way. A daughter of our senior broodmare, LL Khameotreasure, Belle did what we weren't sure was possible when she improved upon her dam. She has retained her mother's sweet, intelligent disposition and has even better conformation. This mare is of rare quality and has proven that she can also produce outstanding quality, with the birth of her first foal, Epic Diva, a 2002 filly by Tomahawk EA.
